President

Mr. Rendak joined Inland Mortgage Capital in 2000, rising up to the rank of president in 2011. His career has been principally devoted to commercial real estate finance. Since arriving at Inland, Mr. Rendak has been focused on all aspects of its bridge lending program, including originating, underwriting, marketing, portfolio management and capital raising. During his career at IMC, Mr. Rendak has been involved in nearly a billion dollars’ worth of financing. IMC’s underwriting strength and leverage from its affiliated companies helped sustain it during the recent financial recession, even as many of its competitors went out of business or became extinct. Mr. Rendak’s belief in the need for private commercial lenders to supplement and/or substitute for traditional banks has resulted in IMC resurrecting its program in a format that is even better than ever. Prior to his career at Inland, Mr. Rendak was a first vice president and real estate loan officer at various banks in Virginia, after learning commercial real estate as a special assets specialist. After graduating from college, he spent several years in public accounting. Mr. Rendak a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is an avid golfer and Chicago Sports Fan and is active in various charitable organizations.
Assistant Vice President – Origination

Mr. Collins has nearly two decades of experience in the finance industry and has been with the Inland family for more than 13 of those years. He most recently joined Inland Mortgage Capital in June of 2023 as assistant vice president – originations. In this role, he is responsible for business development as well as managing risk among new and existing customers. Prior to joining Inland Mortgage Capital, Mr. Collins held various commercial banking positions with Inland Bank & Trust, including senior credit analyst, commercial lending officer and most recently AVP of commercial lending & loan syndications. In that position, he managed a cumulative 35 C&I relationships, totaling $225 million. He also was responsible for managing a commercial real estate portfolio valued at $97 million, consisting of various types of loans in the retail, multifamily, non-owner occupied and office sectors. Additionally, he held commercial banking roles at First Bank, Inc., a predecessor of Huntington Bank. Mr. Collins is a graduate of Illinois State University. In his spare time, he enjoys golf, Chicago sports and volunteering for the Salvation Army and various other charitable organizations.
Real Estate Finance Underwriter

Ohm Patel joined Inland Mortgage Capital, LLC in November 2023 as a real estate finance underwriter. Prior to joining IMC, Mr. Patel was a financial representative for Northwestern Mutual. While in college, Ohm served as an advisory consultant for Made in Urbana, a 3D printing company. He was involved in lead generation, data analysis and strategic planning. Mr. Patel graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with a Bachelor of Science – Finance degree. In his free time, he works closely with BAPS Charities, where he has been a member since 2015.
